Aluminum Processing Quality Inspection Basic Content

In the processing of aluminum profiles, there are many processes involved. In order to ensure the processing quality as much as possible, quality inspection is required. Normally, the mechanical properties of the processed aluminum products are checked after quenching, and the mechanical properties are performed according to the relevant standards.

 

In the surface quality inspection of aluminum workpieces, the first thing to do is to check whether the surface of the profile is clean, no obvious stains or sundries are allowed, and cracks, corrosion spots and traces of nitrates are not allowed. The requirements for the surface quality of non-decorative surfaces of profiles are: Allowable to have no more than 8% of the nominal thickness of the part where the defect is located, air bubbles, and the surface has slight pressure pits, bumps, and scratches, but the maximum depth must not exceed 0.5 Mm. Any defects longer than 1.5 mm, width greater than 0.8 mm, and depth greater than 0.5 mm are not allowed.

 

The requirements for the quality of the decorative surface of aluminum workpieces are: the allowable depth of defects on the surface shall not exceed 0.1 mm, and the area shall not exceed 2 mm; in the direction along the length of the decorative surface, there shall be no more than two in the 500 mm range.

 

In addition, the depth of the surface defects in the workpieces to be machined on the aluminum profiles must not exceed 3/4 mm of the machining allowance. The inner surface of the hollow profile does not require inspection. In addition, the oxide film thickness and color quality requirements of the profile processing workpiece surface must meet the relevant standards.

 

Finally, let's take a look at the dimensional inspection requirements for the aluminum workpieces. Usually in accordance with the requirements of the design drawings inspection, the need to process the size of the profile, according to the requirements of the drawings inspection. In addition, the size of processed aluminum workpieces after processing must be performed in accordance with the relevant standards.
