Surface anodizing of the aluminium frame machining

The surface of the aluminum alloy frame needs to be treated during its processing, mainly by means of electrolysis, the target metal is used as an anode, placed in an electrolyte solution and energized. The anode metal replaces the hydrogen in the electrolyte to produce a dense metal oxide film. The artificial oxide film layer obtained by surface anodizing of the aluminum alloy material is much thicker than the natural oxide film.

A hard and dense oxide film will be formed on the surface of the aluminium frame machining product. During the oxidation process, the aluminum alloy is used as an anode and immersed in the acid solution. The electrolyte will be immersed in the film by the defects of the oxide film. The oxide film is locally dissolved, and a large number of small holes are formed in the surface of the profile, so that current can pass therethrough to oxidize the deeper metal aluminum. In this way, oxidation can progress in a deeper direction. Therefore, the thickness of the formed oxide film greatly exceeds the naturally formed oxide film.

After the oxide film is formed on the surface of the aluminum alloy frame processing product, "sealing" treatment is also required. The so-called "sealing" has three methods of high temperature water sealing, inorganic salt sealing and organic sealing. The resulting profile has a silver-white surface and a high surface hardness, strong wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
